Meet Matthew
A lifelong love of fragrance, now shared around the table.
After more than 30 years working across homewares and fragrance — including ten years with Molton Brown — Matthew turned his love of scent and candles into something he could share with others.
Today, he hosts relaxed candle and fragrance workshops for individuals, public classes and corporate groups, helping people discover the fragrances they love and create something completely personal.
With a lifelong passion for candles (and a cupboard full to prove it), Matthew’s classes are about experimenting, having fun and leaving with a fragrance that’s uniquely yours.

Join Matthew for a relaxed and creative two-hour workshop exploring the world of fragrance before creating and hand-pouring your very own scented soy wax candle. You’ll blend & make your own fragrance using a great collection of oils.

All fragrance oils, soy wax, equipment and materials are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm, an open mind and perhaps a friend or two. Take home a 40 hour burn time candle.

Good to know
A few things you might be wondering…
Not at all. The workshops are designed for complete beginners and Matthew will guide you through every stage.
Everything you need to create your candle is provided, including fragrance oils, soy wax, your candle vessel and all of the equipment used during the workshop.
I use a collection of both Essential & Fragrance oils. You’ll create & blend a fragrance that’s perfect for you.
Classes last approximately two hours.
You’ll create your own bespoke fragrance and hand-pour a soy wax candle with a burn time of up to 40 hours. Plus some great memories.
Absolutely. Classes are relaxed and sociable, so you’re very welcome to join by yourself or bring friends.
Please let Matthew know about any allergies or pregnancy before your class begins so appropriate guidance can be given.
Classes are for guests aged 16 and over. If you would like to discuss a private event for under 16 year olds. Please message me.
Unfortunately pets cannot attend the workshops because fragrance oils are used throughout the class.
